Brushy Creek Dogs

In addition to making dog handling accessories, we also raise and train cur and feist squirrel dogs. This page features some of our family dogs as well as dogs that are for sale. Contact Mike to find out more information about our animals.
 
     
Brushy Creek Buddy (NKC: Freeze's Bud). He's the ol' man around the place. He's a feist of unknown background. A good tree dog who throws some nice pups. About 25 pounds.

 Brushy Creek Ringo (NKC: Freeze's Ringo) (1/22/04), owned by Lorn Freeze, a product of Buffalo River Sam and Buffalo River Penny, with Clear Creek Coz on both sides of the Original Mountain Cur Registry. Won first place in each of his first two competition hunts at Piney Creeks in March and May 2005. Got an ear infection and didn't do as well in late May, but garnered enough points to make squirrel champion. About 35 pounds.

B.J., (Buddy Jr.), born April 05.  BJ is now owned by a young hunter in Bentonville, Ark., where he's earning his keep treeing squirrels and being a fun companion.

Part of the Ringo x Freckles litter born Feb. 06. These are two of the males. The one on the left, Hammer, was going hard on the squirrel tube at five months, shown at right on 2/3/07 on the day he won the first squirrel hunt he entered at 11 months old. The female that we kept from this litter (Missy, above right) treed her first squirrel at 5-6 months. We're waiting for reports from the littermates.
